failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/wordpress

I was doing some WordPress foo on the site (I know right, shockingly I don’t want to hand craft a website and I’d rather be helping customers or really anything else really) and I came into this error when I was installing the wpforms plugins:

Active Directory Effective Permission Auditing

Active directory permissions are a complex beast, at the core of Active Directory you have databases and partitions.

These have access controls lists, there are two types of these:

  • DACL
  • SACL

In active directory auditing these with out of the box tools can be a pain, especially when you are looking to enumerate effective permissions.
